Performance of the Belgian health system: Report 2024
KCE Reports 376C (2024)The fifth edition of the Belgian Performance Report was published in 2024. It analyses our health system along six dimensions: accessibility, quality, efficiency, sustainability, equity and resilience (NEW 2024). In addition, it also analyses four specific domains of care : preventive care, mental health care, care for the elderly and end-of-life care. The result is a dashboard containing 142 indicators.The report highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the system using green, orange and red “lights”.
