In 2025, the Belgian Health Care Knowledge Centre adopted its Gender Equality Plan (GEP), thereby committing to increase attention to gender questions across all aspects of its work through targeted actions, training, inclusive communication, and continuous monitoring. Aligned with the Horizon Europe guidelines, the GEP covers areas like:
- Work-life balance and organizational culture, including awareness-raising
- Gender balance in internal leadership and decision-making
- Gender equality in recruitment and career progression
- Integration of the gender dimension in research and clinical trials to contribute to more relevant, fair, and impactful healthcare research and policy
