Ongoing studie - In recent years, several organisations (such as RIZIV/INAMI, the FPS Public Health and the strategic unit of the Minister for Public Health) have increasingly called on KCE (and other research institutes) to assess policy measures or pilot projects. This research proposal concerns the development of a set of tools to meet this demand.
The development this methodological guidance should enable KCE to better assess policy initiatives (e.g. a new financing mechanism or care trajectory) and make recommendations where appropriate. It provides a handhold for KCE researchers and for those submitting proposals for this type of study. It will form the basis of the new research programme on the evaluation and implementation of policy interventions, which is currently being launched at KCE.
