Von Dezember 2021 bis Dezember 2024 koordinierte KCE auch die „Task Force Therapeutics“ (TF-Tx). Diese Task Force hatte die Aufgabe, wissenschaftliche Daten zu analysieren, um die Behörden bei Entscheidungen über den Kauf von Medikamenten (gegen COVID-19, aber auch gegen andere Krankheiten wie Affenpocken, Grippe usw.) zu beraten. Die Task Force war auch an der Ausarbeitung von Leitlinien für den Einsatz dieser Medikamente beteiligt.
